So, apparently I missed the submission by a SINGLE minute. My excuse is that I spent the day cooking and taking pets to the vet and dangling my feet in the swimming pool to wash off drool so lovingly dripped onto me on the car ride back. I know this would look more delicious with colour…but it is late, and I wish to retire to sleepyland. So enjoy this lasagne, the tastiness of tonight. But let me leave you with this: know that I could never pick a favourite food because I LOVE IT ALL!

I have decided to take part in that which is the drawing challenge. Here is day number one: myself.
So, excuse my absence. It’s definitely been ages since my last post but things have been REALLY busy. I hope to post more frequently over the next few weeks, as I undergo the last semester of uni and bury myself in ‘Major Project’. “What are you doing?”, I hear you ask. In a very small nutshell, I’m creating a short animation based on the nostalgic memories that people have about food. Along with it there shall be a small illustrated publication, incorporating all of the memories I have collected over the past month. Here is the first layout for my animation…not yet finished, but almost there.
This semester I am going to bury myself in work and not emerge until I feel like I have control again.
Cyriak is an incredible specimen of why we should endeavour to keep a certain portion of our society completely insane (posted by Dylan).
